What is a Doula?

Doula’s are trained professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and educational support to a birthing person and their partner before, during, and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. 

As a Doula I will hold space for you. I am there for reassurance of the natural course of labor. I am there to explain and provide evidence based information that allows you to advocate for the birth you want. I am an unbiased, non-judgmental member of your birth team that is solely there for your well-being and comfort.
